Recruiting and Training
The majority of recruiting for CIPS is through the internet, major newspapers as well as local college newspapers and recruiting fairs. Prior to hiring a new valet driver, the candidate is prescreened and then must submit and pass a drug test as well as a clean DMV and criminal record and personal car insurance. Through our prescreening process we evaluate each candidate with several different customer service scenarios to verify if each candidate will represent CIPS in a professional manner. Our philosophy is to promote within, therefore giving opportunities for advancement from personal valet drivers to site managers to area managers. The hiring and promotion pyramid structure that CIPS follows greatly contributes to the success of the company.
CIPS certifies each personal valet attendant with a minimum of ten hours of field and classroom training using the JCAHO standards. Each person is trained to operate manual and automatic transmissions. All valet drivers are trained on how to handle different situations and unforeseen accidents. Every new employee is required to read, understand, and sign the Safety Procedure Manual (SPM) and Customer Service Handbook (CSH) in order to deal with each individual situation or compliment/complaint in the proper manner.

2-way radios, insurance, accident kit, parking reports and various forms.
Customer Claims & Insurance
CIPS, as a contracted parking management company carefully examines all accident claims in a swift and intelligent manner. Our valued clients never handle any claims, as our operations manager is directly involved to resolve the issue or incident. With an industry leading insurance policy, CIPS firmly believes you can never be too safe.
